The first edition of this important collection of Crowley's Qabalistic writings, with a new Introduction by Israel Regardie. It was first published in 1973 in this form, and was subsequently reprinted several times before being retitled "777 and Other Qabalistic Writings of Aleister Crowley" at the time of its fourth printing in 1977. From the collection of Clive Harper with his discrete book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. Very light bruising & rubbing to spine ends and corners, page edges very slightly darkened, a bit of adhesive shadow from a now absent price sticker on front pastedown, pages very lightly toned- but still a lovely, clean VG+ copy in VG+ dust jacket (Dust jacket is a bit chafed at points, not clipped, now in protective mylar cover.).
