Includes twenty five page essay entitled "The Great Beast in Russia: Aleister Crowley's Theatrical Tour in 1913 and his Beastly Writings on Russia" by Will Ryan, long-time custodian of the Yorke Collection in the Warburg Institute. INSCRIBED by Ryan to Clive Harper at the top of the first page of his essay "To Clive with best wishes from Will Ryan." From Harper's collection with his discrete book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications.
