Liber LXXI Die Stimme der Stille. Die beiden Pfade. Die sieben Tore ... Mit einem Kommentar von Meister Therion.

Leipzig: Thelema Verlags Gesellschaft, ND (1928). First Edition Thus. Hardcover, small Octavo. 152pp. Original printed paper-covered boards, with plain cloth backstrip. TEXT IN GERMAN. A German-language translation of Blavatsky's 'The Voice of the Silence,' with Crowley's commentary. It was published in 1928 by the Thelema Verlags Gesellschaft of Leipzig, a company founded to publish German language editions of Crowley's works by a syndicate which comprised Crowley himself, Martha Kuntzel (who translated the work), Bernhard Sporn, Oscar Gebbhardi, Oscar Hopfer and Karl Germer. From the collection of Clive Harper with his discrete book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. A little light bumping to head and tail of spine, boards a little darkened, still a clean, tight VG+ copy of a very scarce publication (issued without dustjacket ). Item #65136
