Bhagavan [Bhagwan] Das (1869 – 1958) was an Indian activist and scholar who joined the Theosophical Society in 1894 after being inspired by a speech by Annie Besant. Das wrote over 30 books. Cloth a bit rubbed and darkened, gilt lettering a bit faded, spine ends and corners bruised. Owner's note in pencil on front and rear endpapers, US distributor sticker on title page, pages toned - but clean and unmarked. Overall a tight, clean VG copy. (no dust jacket). Item #65174
