A volume from the Secret Doctrine Reference Series which reprints works which were important to Mme. Blavatsky, and upon which she relied or quoted heavily from when writing "The Secret Doctrine." A facsimile reprint of the "The Philosophical Writings of Solomon Ben Yehudah Ibn Gebirol, or Avicebron, and their connection with the Hebrew Qabbalah and Sepher ha-Zohar, with remarks upon the Antiquity and content of the latter, and translations of selected passages from the same. This was an important work of the time - Mme.
