B&w illustrations, diagrams etc. The stated first College of Thelema edition of this work by Crowley in which he recorded his magical retirement of October 1st - 13th, 1908. Crowley originally published the text - which he described as "A model of what a magical record should be, so far as accurate analysis and fullness of description are concerned" - in "The Equinox" Vol. I: No. 1 (1909). This new edition includes a new Introduction by Frater Pi, the complete original text of "John St. John", along with lacunae and notes supplied from a copy annotated by Crowley, and, as an Appendix, the self initiation ritual which Crowley composed during the course of his retirement "The Ritual of the Building of the Pyramid" (Liber Pyramidos).
