Item #65707 Liber Gradus. Robert PODGURSKI.

Liber Gradus.

NP (USA): Satanas Babalon Press, 1991. Second printing. Softcover. Quarto. 11.5 x 8.5 inches. vi + 156pp. Black spiral comb binding, red card covers with black lettering, b&w illustrations, tables, list of works cited. The second edition of "Liber Gradus, The Book of Magickal Velocity or Pace," which was a very early form of the book that has more recently been published under the title: "The Sacred Alignments & Dark Side of Sigils" (Mandrake Press / 2012, North Atlantic 2019). There appear to be numerous significant differences between this and more recent editions, not least of which this version includes an interesting "Invocation of Amen Set Ra" and commentary which appears to have been omitted from the later editions. In essence the work introduces the Grid Sigil - an original and innovative magical tool that is designed not only to focus and empower internalized workings but also to play an active part in external applications such as dowsing, and elemental workings. It explores the pathways that exist between the Grid Sigil and other forms of magick: principally Enochian but also those of Spare, Bertiaux, Crowley and others. From the collection of Clive Harper with his discreet book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well-known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. Upper corner bumped else appears unused thus a tight, clean VG+ copy. Scarce. Item #65707
