Large octavo. vi + 46pp. Glossy white card covers with black cloth spine, wrapped in cream dust jacket illustrated and lettered in black. Errata tipped onto front blank. A study of magic and initiation by Ray Sherwin, one of the originators of Chaos Magic. Sherwin also authored "The Book of Results," and with Peter Carroll founded the Illuminates of Thanateros. This volume includes the first publication of some previously unpublished extracts from Crowley's translation of "The Golden Verses of Pythagoras." From the collection of Clive Harper with his discreet book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. Soft paper dust jacket a little rubbed and with a few light marks, else a tight, clean VG+ copy of a rather scarce title. Item #65727
