INSCRIBED & SIGNED by Israel Regardie on the front free endpaper "6 Nov 72, For Mildred, All the best including 93/93, Francis". ("Francis" being Regardie's original first name, and the name by which his close friends knew him.) In addition to the core text of the "Vision and the Voice" working, this edition contains Crowley's commentary on this important Enochian rite, along with an Introduction written in 1929 by Crowley's former Secretary and student, Israel Regardie, both of which were first published by Crowley's successor Karl J. Germer in his 1952 edition of the work. It also includes the first publication of a 10 page Postscript especially written for this edition by Regardie. From the collection of Clive Harper with his discreet book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. Light rubbing to lower edges, page edges a little dusty and yellowed, paper lightly browned. Otherwise a tight, internally clean VG+ copy in near VG dust jacket.
