Cyril Meir Scott (1879 – 1970) was an English composer, writer, and poet who perhaps was best known for his three volume "Initiate" series which tells the story of “Justin Moreward Haig” an initiate or adept of high attainment along Theosophical lines. This is the best edition of this work in which Scott explores physical and mental health and nutrition, with references to homeopathy, astrology, and other "alternative" treatments, as well as a small section on the occult in healing and the etheric body. Spine a bit darkened, corners and spine ends bruised & chafed, page edges darkened, bookshop ink-stamp on front pastedown, upper corner of front blank neatly clipped, pages toned but clean and unmarked.
