Harriette Augusta and F. Homer Curtiss were ardent Theosophists who founded of The Order of Christian Mystics and The Universal Religious Foundation and who wrote a number of texts on Christian mysticism based on the Western Mystery School Tradition. In addition to their books, they offered their teachings through a system of correspondence as well as through frequent public lectures. This volume contains the authors' response to the need for advanced instruction concerning the great unrest in world conditions, as well as their explanation of the anticipated "Second Coming." Light overall shelf wear, some chafing and bumps to edges and extremities, page edges a bit browned, lengthy penciled gift note on front blank, pages toned - mostly clean but with a very few light scattered pencil marks (easily erased).
