A study of occult practices and beliefs sanctioned by the State in Hitler's Germany. By Nigel Pennick (b. 1946), the well-known English author of numerous works on occultism, magic, divination, witchcraft, runosophy, etc. We have observed first editions of this book with two different dust-jackets one - as this - is largely red, the other largely black. We suspect, but are not sure, that the red dust-jacket is a second issue. In both cases the book itself is the first issue of the first edition. The faintest of shelf rubbing, some even toning to pages, else appears unread, thus a lovely clean near Fine copy in VG+ dust jacket (Dust jacket a little rubbed at head of spine, rear panel a little yellowed, now protected in removable mylar cover).
