Octavo. 302pp. Full textured black leather with gilt rules and raised bands on spine, gilt titling to maroon spine label, speckled page edges, marbled endpapers, b&w sigils and illustrations, index. The volume has a "one of a kind" deluxe full leather binding which Savedow specially commissioned for presentation to his then partner. He has also INSCRIBED and SIGNED it, with a lengthy and fulsome passage on the title-page dated 5-5-2009. Following a parting of the ways she evidently returned it to him, at which time he struck out her name in pen, and passed it to a friend. The book itself is the first contemporary English edition of this famous, anonymous, magical text, having been translated by Savedow from the rare 1701 Hebrew edition published in Amsterdam. The faintest of shelf rubbing, otherwise Fine condition. Obviously a unique copy with an unusual provenance. Item #66479
