Two short works by Crowley: "His Majesty's Fiddler, A Sketch", & "The Blind Prophet, A Ballet." The first is a one-act play written by Crowley in Paris in the summer of 1911, when he penned a number of plays which included roles that he had especially written for Leila Waddell. The play remained unpublished during Crowley's lifetime but a typescript survived in the files of J. F. C. Fuller. This is believed to be its first publication. "The Blind Prophet" is a short theatrical piece that Crowley originally published in "The Equinox," Vol. I No.5. From the library of Clive Harper with his discreet book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well-known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. Simple "staple and xerox" production values, light crease to lower corner, very light wear and fading to covers, else a tight, clean near Fine copy. Item #66611
