777 vel Prolegomena Symbolica Ad Systemam Sceptico-Mysticae Viae Explicandae, Fundamentum Hieroglyphicum Sanctissimorum Scientiae Summae [Seven Seven Seven ].

NP [ San Francisco ]: Level Press, ND (ca. 1970?). First Edition Thus. Softcover. Landscape format. 6.5 x 10 inches. 98pp. Spiral bound, white illustrated card covers, b&w photo of Crowley. A very unusual and scarce printing of Crowley's "777" - apparently based on the Yorke/Germer edition of 1955. Undated, but the chronologically arranged listings for "777" in the "Aleister Crowley Desk Reference" places this edition before the Level Press editions of 1971. From the collection of Clive Harper with his discreet book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. Covers a bit rubbed, darkened and slightly discoloured with a few light marks, cover edges chafed, owner's name etc on rear cover and on front blank. Still, overall a tight, unmarked VG example of this unusual edition. Item #66622
