Liber CMXXII: Sub Figura MCXXX. Parsifal. A Brief Initiated Interpretation and Explanation.

NP [ Pittsburgh, PA ]: Privately Published [ G. M. Kelly ], 1984. First Edition Thus. Large format softcover. Quarto ( 8.5 x 11 inches), vi + 93pp + ipp bibliography, 10 b&w plates of tarot-like designs by Kelly. "Velobound" photocopied pages: Flexible black plastic covers, secured together with a black plastic back strip, bright green endsheets, printed on rectos only. The author, Frater Keallach 93/676 - also known as G. M. Kelly - (b. 1951) is a Pittsburgh based Thelemic firebrand who began writing and publishing "The Newaeon Newsletter" in 1977 and whose "Sword of Horus" essays have ruffled many feathers over the years. Kelly writes of this work elsewhere: "Liber CMXXII deals with the Parsifal myth as told by Richard Wagner and explains it in terms of the Crossing of the Abyss and the attainment of the Magister Templi 8°=3° grade." From the collection of Clive Harper with his discreet book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. Presumably the print-run was small as copies are seldom seen. Appears unused - thus a tight clean near Fine copy. Scarce. Item #66669
