777 vel Prolegomena Symbolica Ad Systemam Sceptico-Mysticae Viae Explicandae, Fundamentum Hieroglyphicum Sanctissimorum Scientiae Summae [Seven Seven Seven ].

NP [ San Francisco ]: Level Press, ND [ 1971 ]. First Edition Thus. Softcover. Small octavo. [5 x 8 inches] xxviii + 156 + (viii) pp. Light blue wrappers with angled lettering in dark blue across front wrapper. An unusual and somewhat scarce printing of Crowley's "777" - apparently based on the Yorke/Germer edition of 1955. From the collection of Clive Harper with his discrete book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. The label can easily be removed without affecting the page, if desired. Covers a bit darkened & lightly worn from ordinary use, edges a bit chafed, light crease across top wrapper and a couple of light creases to pages, single inked word and bookshop label on half-title page, Skoob London label on rear cover. Still a tight, better-than VG copy of an uncommon edition. Item #66696
