Original bright red wrappers with with "THE BOOK / OF THE LAW" lettered in gilt across the front cover, and "THE BOOK OF THE LAW" similarly lettered down the spine. A reprint of the "Samuel Weiser Publishing" edition of "The Book of the Law" which was first published in 1976. The introduction and text have been photo-offset from the 1938 English edition, but incorporate corrections made by the O.T.O. especially for the 1976 publication. The text of "The Book of the Law ," and the "Tunis Comment" are all drawn from the 1938 edition, although the advertisements are omitted and instead replaced with a facsimile of the original manuscript (Liber XXXI). In this and subsequent printings the old "Samuel Weiser" imprint is replaced with the new "WeiserBooks". From the collection of Clive Harper with his discreet book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications.
