Paul Brunton (1898-1981), was a London born mystical philosopher, esotericist, and author, whose many published books along with the present work, include: "A Search in Secret India", "A Message from Arunachala", "A Hermit in the Himalayas", and "The Quest of the Overself." In this volume Brunton recounts his spiritual explorations in Egypt. This copy most recently from the private library of author Mukunda Stiles best known for his "Structural Yoga Therapy" (Weiser, 2003), and includes Stiles' private library ink stamp on front blank. Light general shelf wear, light bruising and chafing to corners and spine ends, page edges a bit darkened, private library ink stamps on front endpapers, penned dates on front blank, internally clean and unmarked. Overall a tight, clean VG copy in Fair dust jacket (Dramatically illustrated dust jacket is darkened and rubbed overall, worn and chipped at all edges, a bit of tidy tape repair at spine ends, not price clipped.
