Item #66891 A Casebook of Witchcraft. William WOODS, Selected.

A Casebook of Witchcraft.

New York, NY: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1974. First Edition. Hardcover. Octavo. 216pp. Charcoal gray cloth with silver titling to spine. A collection of eyewitness reports, depositions, confessions, trial records, etc of witchcraft during a three hundred year period. The author has selected and annotated them so as to give the reader a real sense of the "bizarre and disturbing visions" evoked, rather than presenting them in a manner made dry by scholarly arrangment and analysis. A bit of light shelf wear, bumps to corners, page edges a little darkened, but still a tight, and unmarked VG+ copy in VG dust jacket. (Dust jacket is a bit worn, chipped and creased at all edges and folds, price clipped. Now in protective mylar cover). Item #66891
