The second revised and enlarged edition of this well-known book by Lady Sheba (Jessie Wicker Bell: 1920-2002) a self-proclaimed Gardnerian witch. "The Grimoire" includes her "Book of Shadows" (the first "Book of Shadows" to be published in the US) which was first published in 1971, along with other additional material and went on to play an important part in modern constructions of witchcraft. Covers rubbed and a bit worn overall with some scratches and chafing, light bumping to edges, spine ends and corners, page edges darkened and lightly thumbed, unknown spill to first few leaves has left some noticeable but minor brown spots, else internally clean. Overall a tight, unmarked Good + copy (no dust jacket issued). Item #66950
