London: Pentagram, 1970. First Edition. Softcover. Octavo. Periodical. (36pp - paginated as 77-112). Original printed wrappers lettered in green and black. The publisher says of the Regardie essay: "The following thumbnail sketch of Madame Blavatsky, Mary Baker Eddy and Aleister Crowley shows the impact of three quite dissimilar people on contemporary spiritual thought." The essay was intended for use as an Introduction for a book, but we do not know if the planned publication eventuated. From the collection of Clive Harper with his small name-stamp on inside front cover and discreet book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. Light rubbing and discolouring to covers, a few tiny closed tears at edges - else a title clean VG+ copy, A scarce edition with an impressive line-up of authors. Item #67145
