A single issue of this weekly magazine, founded in April 1919. The John O'London's Weekly took its title from the pen name of one of its early editors, Wilfred Whitten, and was regarded as one of the leading literary magazines in the UK for decades. This issue includes a full page feature/review on Viola Banke's memoirs "Why Not?" which has a short paragraph "The Ring and the Accident" retelling a story about Aleister Crowley and a diamond and ruby ring which brought him luck, but spelled disaster to others. Otherwise it contains a varied selection of articles on literature, art, science and theatre. Paper browned and lightly worn but clean and unmarked. In VG condtion given its fragile nature.
