The first softcover edition of this volume which comprises good quality grayscale facsimiles of the majority of the surviving diaries that Jane Wolfe kept while training with Crowley at Cefalu. Most are reproduced from typescripts, although some are copies of manuscripts. Crowley's handwritten comments run throughout, and give interesting insights into his training methods, and life at the Abbey of Thelema. Most of this material has never before been published. This copy inscribed by editor David Shoemaker to Clive Harper on the half title page: "May you attach unto the Light!, 93, David". Stated first edition with "August 2008" and the "College of Thelema of Northern California" as publisher (this was later changed to "Temple of the Silver Star"). From the collection of Clive Harper with his discreet book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications.
