NP: I-H-O Books, ND [ July 2005 ]. "Revised Edition" [ But Blank ]. Softcover. Large Quarto. NO TEXT. Not paginated [approx. 400 blank pages]. Colour illustrated wrappers. Includes a printed slip with the publisher's limitation notice which reads "One of 20 copies Signed By / Kenneth Grant and A. R. Naylor / This is copy no. 9." NOTE THE BOOK IS NOT SIGNED BY ANYONE! The idea was that the slip was loosely laid onto the top of the "book" and the whole thing shrink-wrapped so that the recipient would not be aware of its true blank nature until opening the shrink-wrap. An elaborate joke by the publisher A. R. Naylor - doubtless a reflection of the fact that the 1999 "first" (and therefore ONLY) edition of "OTO Rituals and Sex Magick" had to be withdrawn from sale following legal action asserting copyright violations. Naylor presented this copy to Clive Harper. Although it is numbered "9" is seems highly unlikely that more than a handful were produced, and it may indeed be unique. From the collection of Clive Harper with his discreet book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications.
