This edition reprints the text of original 1877 first printing but with an added new appendix containing a Bibliography of the works and authors which are referenced by Blavatsky,
a considerably enlarged Index, and two related essays by Blavatsky: "Theories about Reincarnation and Spirits" and "My Books." "Isis Unveiled" was Blavatsky's first major publication, which not only became one of the foundation stones of Theosophy, but was highly influential on the Western esoteric and magical traditions in general, with Aleister Crowley even going so far as to identify her as a fellow Master of the Temple in one essay. Light overall shelfwear. Corners bumped causing a barely noticeable crease to the extreme top corner of the first few dozen leaves of Vol. I, spine ends lightly rubbed, page edges and page margins darkened, small owner's penned name on front blanks, otherwise a tight, clean and unmarked VG+ set.
