Eight consecutive issues of this irregularly published periodical - originally intended to be a quarterly but which was an "annual" by 1935 and after. All bound in original matching orange wrappers lettered and illustrated in black, some illustrations. No. 1, Vol. I - Summer Issue, 1929 (48pp + iv adverts); No.2, Vol. I - Autumn Issue, 1929 (82pp + iv adverts) ; No. 3. Vol. I - Winter Issue, 1929-1930 (75pp + vii adverts); No. 4, Vol. I - Spring Issue, 1930 (79pp + viii adverts); No.5, Vol. 2 - Sept-Oct-Nov, 1930 (74pp + viii adverts); No. 6, Vol. 2 - Spring Issue, 1931 (78pp + vi adverts); No. 7 - Summer-Autumn, 1931 (80pp + iv adverts); and No. 8, "Annual Issue", 1935 ( 89pp + i advert). The journal that was obviously modelled on "The Occult Review" both in appearance, and to lesser extent content. In contrast, however, the essays, editorials etc. that it contains seem to be all the work of one individual, Charles Moore, about whom next to nothings seems to be known. The journal itself touches on a variety of occult and spiritual movements, with essays on astrology and prophecy, comparative religion, alernative health and the occult, as well as aspects of Spiritualism, New Thought, Theosophy and Christian Science. Each issue typically comprised nine or ten essays, as well as editorial notes and comments, advertisements, and sometimes reader's letters. Some of the essay headings are: "Modern Thought Movements - Christian Science"; "The Problem of Good and Evil"; "The Secret Sciences - Natural Astrology"; "Death and the Vast Spirit World"; "Theosophy - An Analysis"; "Destiny of Mussolini"; "Astrology Explained";"Spiritualism - Its Dangers"; "How to Conduct a Spirit Circle"; "New Thought Movement"; Metaphysical Healing - the Modern Mind-Cure"; "Spirits and Angels - their Homes and Labours";"How Spirits Control Mortals"; "The Law of Increase";"How to Succeed"; "What Different Spirits Report of the Next World"; "Are Mediums Responsible"; "Spurious White Brotherhoods"; "Occultism - True and False." As far as we can tell five more issues of the journal appeared - extremely erratically - with the final issue, No. 13, being published in 1949. These fragile publications have some ordinary shelfwear, chafing, chipping and spot fading, spines a bit chipped and discoloured, but all are solid and complete and unmarked.
