Original black cloth with gilt rules and gilt titling on red title panel on spine. ong the standard translation into English of this 2nd century CE astrological/philosophical text by the Alexandrian scholar Claudius Ptolemy. The companion volume to his Almagest, "Tetrabiblos" remains an important work on astrological theory. A Good only copy. Boards rubbed and discolored with bruised corners, childish scrawls in ink across blank reverse of title page, one leaf quite chipped at margins, pages quite darkened with moderate foxing throughout. A few small pencil crosses in the margins. A shabby but still solid copy (no dust jacket). Item #67449
