A complete set of this new edition of the ten numbers which make up the first series (or 'volume') of "The Equinox", along with the matching 1992 limited edition (1000 copies) reprint of Vol. III No. I (coloquially known as 'The Blue Equinox'). Volume I Nos. I - X were originally published biannually between 1909 & 1913 and Vol III No. I in 1919 (there was no Volume II as such). Crowley was the editor and main author of "The Equinox", which contained a variety of poetry, fiction, and reviews - generally with esoteric themes - alongside a number of articles of occult instruction. This edition includes a specially commissioned Introduction by Israel Regardie. From the collection of Clive Harper with his discrete book-label neatly tipped in at the rear of Vol. I. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. A superb set, it appears almost as new. The volumes themselves are Fine condition, and the original transparent thick mylar dust covers are largely intact, with just a few with small chips or tears. A large heavy set that will require additional shipping to that which is automatically listed - the cost depending on the actual destination. Item #67526
