Crowley's major astrological work, Liber DXXXVI, annotated and with an Introduction by Stephen Skinner. This copy SIGNED & INSCRIBED twice by Stephen Skinner. The first inscription is on the half-title page "To Clive / Stephen Skinner / 19.10.90 EV" . The second signature is on the title-page where it is simply signed "Stephen Skinner 8/8/99." The explanation for this is that with the passing of ten years Harper had forgotten that he had previously asked Skinner to sign it, and both men overlooked the first inscription when Harper handed it to him a second time! From the collection of Clive Harper with his discreet book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. A hint of shadowing to the endpapers, a little light thumbing to the margins of a couple of pages, and the edges. Overall a tight, clean VG+ copy in VG+ dust jacket (dust jacket not price-clipped, has a small scrape on the front panel, a little rubbed at the edges, a few small spots on rear panel). Item #67720
