Volume Five (only) of the "White Cross Library" series of books by Mulford which dealt with mental powers / thought currents and how to train and use them. California author Prentice Mulford (1834–1891) was a noted literary humorist and pioneer of the New Thought movement who wrote essays and poetry as well as a number of books on mental/spiritual laws such as the series of which this volume is a part. Cloth shows a little modest shelf-wear, light bruising to points, a couple of small bumps to edges, pages toned and with a few with creases but unmarked. Still overall a tight, clean VG+ copy. (no dust jacket - probably none called for). Early editions of this series becoming quite scarce. Item #67811
