Original green publisher's cloth with gilt lettering to spine and upper board, appendix and index. B&w illustrations. Harriette Augusta Curtiss (1856-1932) and F. Homer Curtiss were ardent Theosophists who founded The Order of Christian Mystics and The Universal Religious Foundation and who wrote a number of texts on Christian mysticism based on the Western Mystery School Tradition.
