A quite comprehensive history of astrology, commencing with Babylonian astrology, and moving on through that of ancient Egypt and Greece, through various other cultures and time periods, to the modern western world. The author, Ellen McCaffery (1886 - 1953), was an English-born American astrologer, writer, and teacher whose other works included "Astrological Home Study Course," "Graphic Astrology," and "Key to Biblical Symbolism." Light general shelfwear, spine ends bruised and chafed, page edges darkened, pages toned but clean and unmarked, old price sticker on rear pastedown. Overall a tight, clean VG+ copy in VG dust jacket. (Dust jacket lightly worn overall, spine has slight damp marks and is a little discoloured, spine ends and corners lightly chafed and chipped, not clipped. Now in protective mylar cover).
