A reprint of this omnibus volume of the works of Charles Fort with a new introduction byTiffany Thayer, (then) Secretary of the Fortean Society. Following the new introduction, contents comprise: "The Book of the Damned" (1919), "New Lands" (1923), "Lo!" (1931), and "Wild Talents" (1932). Fort (1874 – 1932) was the American writer whose name became (literally) synonymous with research into "anomalous phenomena" - everything from the occult, and paranormal, through spontaneous combustion, levitation, animals falling from the skies, strange disappearances, UFOs, etc. etc. Light general shelfwear, corners and lower spine bumped and a little rubbed, page edges a bit darkened and thumbed, light (1944) gift inscription on front blank. Pages toned but clean and unmarked. Overall a solid, tight VG+ copy in Good dust jacket (Dust jacket is a little worn overall and is chafed and creased at all edges -points and folds, not clipped.
