Perdurabo. The Life of Aleister Crowley.
Tempe, AZ: New Falcon Publications, 2002. First Edition. Softcover. Large octavo. 555pp (+ vpp. adverts) The first edition of this important biography, of which there were 3000 copies printed. (There was no 'trade' hardback of this first edition, although there were two different deluxe leather-bound issues.) The most detailed - and arguably the best - of the many biographies of Aleister Crowley. This copy has been warmly INSCRIBED by the Richard Kaczynski to Crowley scholar, Martin P. Starr on the title page. Starr is well-known in Thelemic circles as the author of "The Unknown God", an essayist and editor of Crowley texts, and co-founder of the Teitan Press. With Starr's "Meithras" blind seal on the half-title page ("Meithras" was the magical name adopted by Starr in his youth, and although he had a blind seal made that bore it he very seldom used it on his books). Gently read with light signs of shelfwear and use but still a tight, clean VG+ association copy. Item #68144
