Abramelin & Co.

Munich: Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Religions- und Weltanschauungsfragen (A.R.W.), 1995. First Edition. Softcover. Octavo. 368pp. Blue card covers lettered and illustrated in black on upper cover and spine, b&w illustrations. Text mostly in German with a small amount in English [mostly quoted and facsimile documents]. A broad ranging collection of material on occult thought and Abramelin, with material from Crowley, the OTOA, the Fraternitas Saturni, etc. etc. including facsimiles of a 1725 German edition of Abramelin and various related Golden Dawn manuscripts. This copy includes publisher's prospectus brochure, a color photo affixed to the first leaf and is humorously INSCRIBED on the first leaf by Koenig (simply "Peter") an un-named recipient (Martin P. Star) - the inscription reads "for all the nice weekends we had together" whereas the two had never met. From the library of Martin P. Starr: the author of "The Unknown God", essayist, editor of Crowley texts, and co-founder of the Teitan Press. With one of Starr's personalised "post it notes", with his name printed on it, loosely inserted for use as a book mark. Light overall shelf wear and creasing to covers, spine faded and a bit creasd, light chafing to corners and spine ends - still a tight, clean VG+ copy. Item #68191
