Item #68210 Liber Jugorum. Sub Figura III. Aleister CROWLEY.

Liber Jugorum. Sub Figura III.

Berkeley / San Francisco: O.T.O / Stellar Visions, 1986. Reprint. Softcover. Octavo. 12pp. Pale grey stapled wrappers printed in black, b&w illustrations, multi-coloured endpages. An essay originally published in "The Equinox, Vol. I No. 4," in which Crowley gives "instruction for the control of speech, action and thought." It was first published separately by
by Ebony Anpu and Lotte Lieb of Stellar Visions in 1981 in simple black printed red paper wrappers, as part of an effort to make basic Crowley texts more widely available. In the mid-1980s they reissued it in the present form, in grey card wrappers and with what were perhaps rather over-enthusiastically described at the time as "beautiful hand colored endpapers." Overall the production values are rather basic. From the collection of Clive Harper with his discreet book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. Slight rubbing and darkening to covers, otherwise a clean VG+ copy. Item #68210
