Item #68287 Ritual XXVIII. The Ceremony of the Seven Holy Kings. Aleister CROWLEY.
Ritual XXVIII. The Ceremony of the Seven Holy Kings.

Ritual XXVIII. The Ceremony of the Seven Holy Kings.

NP, ND (2007). Softcover. Quarto.(8.5 x 11 inches). Black metal spiral bound mylar covered textured black wrappers. 3pp printed on rectos only. Crowley described "Liber XXVIII. Liber Septem Regum Sanctorum" ("Ritual XXVIII. The Ceremony of the Seven Holy Kings") as "a ritual of Initiation bestowed on certain selected probationers.” As far as we are aware it has only been published once, as a very limited distribution Thelema Lodge, O.T.O., booklet in 1989. This anonymous, privately-printed version was available for sale very briefly in 2007. It is neatly computer typeset, and was probably designed for use by someone actually intending to perform the ritual. From the collection of Clive Harper with his discreet book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. Light shelf wear to covers, else tight unmarked near Fine copy. Unusual. Item #68287
