INRI O.T.O. Introduction.

Berkeley / San Francisco: O.T.O / Stellar Visions, 1986. Second Edition Thus. Softcover. Octavo stapled booklet. xvi pages.[16 pp]. Pale grey wrappers lettered and illustrated in black, hand-coloured endpages. The booklets were advertised at the time as having "beautiful hand colored endpapers," which seems a little overstated, but irrespective of one's thoughts on these the other production values are rather basic. The second Stellar Visions edition (the first was 1981) of "INRI" - Crowley's introduction to the O.T.O. as earlier published in "The Equinox" Vol. I, No. IX (1913). The booklet was part of the massive effort by Ebony Anpu and Lotte Lieb to make basic Crowley texts available in the 1980s. From the collection of Clive Harper with his discreet book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. Very light shelf wear, slight darkening near upper spine on rear cover - else a tight, clean near Fine copy. Item #68298
