Item #68310 The Confessions of Aleister Crowley. An Autohagiography. Aleister CROWLEY, John Symonds, Kenneth Grant.

The Confessions of Aleister Crowley. An Autohagiography.

New York: Bantam, 1971. Second Printing of this Edition. Softcover. Small octavo. 1058pp, xxxii page insert b&w illustrations, adverts. Thick pocket sized paperback. Crowley had originally intended his 'Confessions' would be published in six volumes, but sadly only two of these had been published before the Great Depression and various internal disputes led to the demise of the publishers. The project languished uncompleted throughout Crowley's lifetime, and it was not until 1969 that the Confessions were issued in a single volume abridged edition, edited by John Symonds and Kenneth Grant. This copy is a second printing of the Bantam softcover edition, which was published a year after the first US edition. Covers lightly rubbed and have a few minor creases, edges lightly chafed, paper browned (as common). Still a solid, unmarked VG+ copy of this complete, compact edition. Item #68310
