Not so much a biography as an overview and appraisal of the Beast and his Law of Thelema. This copy from the library of British artist, writer and musician DAVID TIBET (founder of the music group Current 93) with his OWNERSHIP SIGNATURE on half title page. The author, Gerald Suster (1951-2001), was a Thelemite, prolific writer, and enfant terrible of the British occult scene. He is best known for this book and his biographical study of Israel Regardie, although he also wrote various other works on different historical aspects of the occult, as well as a number of novels. A hint of shelfwear, bump and short closed tear at upper spine, light foxing to page edges, else a clean, tight, VG+ copy in VG+ dust jacket (Dust jacket very lightly rubbed and creased at edges, not clipped.
