Item #68412 Aleister Crowley: The Beast Demystified. Roger HUTCHINSON, From the David Tibet collection.

Aleister Crowley: The Beast Demystified.

Edinburgh, Scotland: Mainstream Publishing, 1998. First edition. Hardcover. Large octavo. 216pp. Black cloth with silver title, etc. to spine, index. Although largely overshadowed by the biographies of Kaczynski and Sutin, Hutchinson's work is not without its merits, particularly when it comes to Crowley's early years, and for its more disinterested perspective. This copy from the library of British artist, writer and musician DAVID TIBET (founder of the music group Current 93) with his OWNERSHIP SIGNATURE on the front blank. Just a hint of shelfwear, spine ends bruised and page edges very slightly darkened and foxed, text clean and unmarked. Overall a tight, clean VG+ copy in VG+ dust jacket (Dust jacket lightly chafed at creased at all edges and extremities, not clipped. Now in mylar cover). Item #68412
