Original deep red wrappers with with "THE BOOK / OF THE LAW" lettered in gilt across the front cover, and "THE BOOK OF THE LAW" similarly lettered down the spine. A reprint of the "Samuel Weiser Publishing" edition of "The Book of the Law" which was first published in 1976. This copy from the library of British artist, writer and musician DAVID TIBET (founder of the music group Current 93) with his OWNERSHIP SIGNATURE on the verso of front blank. The introduction and text have been photo-offset from the 1938 English edition, but incorporate corrections made by the O.T.O. especially for the 1976 publication. The text of "The Book of the Law ," and the "Tunis Comment" are all drawn from the 1938 edition, although the advertisements are omitted and instead replaced with a facsimile of the original manuscript (Liber XXXI). In this and subsequent printings the old "Samuel Weiser" imprint is replaced with the new "WeiserBooks". Just a few ight signs of use and shelf rubbing - a few faint marks to covers and page edges, else a tight, clean VG+ copy. Item #68423
