France: Taschenbuch, 2013. First Edition. Softcover. Small quarto. Text in FRENCH. 244pp. Original black & white card covers with fold-overs, lettered in black on spine and rear cover. and illustrated on upper cover. The first issue of this nicely produced periodical of the arts which includes an essay by Valérie Caradec: "Every Man and Every Woman is a Star: Aleister Crowley dans le miroir de l'art Contemporain." Loosely inserted is a beautifully written note, SIGNED simply "Valérie" [Caradec] presenting the copy to David Tibet, and thanking him for his help with the essay. This copy is thus from the library of British artist, writer and musician DAVID TIBET (founder of the music group Current 93) it also has his OWNERSHIP SIGNATURE on the first blank. Upper corner lightly bruised and overall with a little light shelf-wear, but at first glance the volume appears in near-new condition. HOWEVER the bottom edge is darkened and there is some creasing and tearing to the bottom corner of about fifty pages (at its worst the affected area is not much bigger than a couple of match-heads) which is possibly a printing/binding flaw Otherwise a tight, clean copy with interesting association.
