Cagliostro, The Secret Lives. Volume II.

NP [ Italy ]: Media Print / Roberto Migliussi, 2021. First Edition. Softcover. Quarto. Volume II of III (Vol. III not yet released). 19cm x 27cm. vi + 164pp. Includes 36 coloured illustrations of Bertiaux's occult art. An unspecified limited edition of hand-numbered copies. We are most pleased to offer this fascinating new work by our good friend, artist/adept Michael Bertiaux. Bertiaux lives his life unlike most - being intensely aware of past (and future?) lives, Michael also perceives disincarnate beings; contacts spirits by means of séances - at times using the spirits of important departed spiritualists as intermediaries and, moreover, magically identify with and embody disincarnate and once incarnate beings. Thus he becomes a vector in the occult life current, transcending time and place, exploring wisdom and gnosis and experiencing the thrill of exploration. This is the first of three volumes which record his embodiment in modern Chicago of Alessandro Cagliostro, the kabbalist who founded Egyptian freemasonry, the overtly occult rite open to both men and women that became the rite of Memphis and Mizraim from whence the OTO was created. Reproduces numerous records of séances etc. with striking and enigmatic paintings of the beings encountered. These suggest a degree of automatic drawing whereby it is the act of artistic creation that manifest the beings. We will be carrying the additional volumes which will follow in this set of three. NEW book in Fine condition but for very light corner bumps from international transit. Larger book - may need additional funds for international shipping. Item #68462
