Although not stated within the volume, only 1000 copies of the first edition were published. The scarce first edition of Enochian scholar Geoffrey James' collection drawn from the magical diaries and workbooks of Elizabethan scientist and magus, Dr. John Dee. Hint of light shelf-wear, a little dust and flecking to top-edge of text block, one or two tiny dark marks on blanks (an artifact of the letterpress printing process) but otherwise as New, and thus near-Fine condition in lightly rubbed near Fine dust jacket (the dust jacket has a little creasing at the head of the spine).
