The first Trident Press publication of the "Ars Notoria." It was produced in limited softcover, cloth, and leather editions, this being the softcover edition. The text is from the 1657 Turner edition of the work. The grimoire itself apparently dates from the thirteenth century and is one of the core texts of "Solomonic magick." It basically sets out a magical ritual, with orations and words of power, whose recitation is said not only to lead to mystic unity, but to bestow all manner of knowledge and other earthly boons. A lovely copy in near Fine condition to which has been added a custom mylar cover. Out of print and scarce in this, and all editions. Item #68679
