By H. Stanley Redgrove (1887-1943), scientist, historian and scholar of alchemy and the occult, for a time acting President of the Alchemical Societry, a regular contributor to "The Occult Review," and author of "Alchemy: Ancient and Modern" and other alchemy related monographs, as well as a number of other titles on Magic, Mysticism and Folklore.
