The autobiography of John G. Bennett (1897 –1974) a British mathematician, scientist, technologist, industrial research director and author who is best known for his books on the teachings of G. I. Gurdjieff, most notably the four volume "Dramatic Universe" in which Bennett sets out his comprehensive theory of man's existence from a scientifc view viewpoint, drawing largely from the works of Gurdjieff. Some ordinary wear from use, a few marks to boards, top edge darkened and foxed, edges lightly thumbed, owner's name on front blank, the last two pages of the index and final three blanks have been scribbled on by a child (no loss of text), pages toned but otherwise unmarked. Because of the scribble this only rates as a Good copy, although it is still tight and serviceable, in Good + dust jacket (Dust jacket a bit worn overall with darkening and chafing to all edges and extremities, spine sunned, a few minor chips and tears, price clipped.
