Moderate ordinary shelf wear, light bumps & chafing to edges - corners and spine ends, cloth a bit rubbed and spot faded. Page edges darkened, endpapers unevenly browned and lightly foxed, pages a bit toned - with just a few minor pencil marks in margins (not excessive). The top right corner of the front cover of Vol. II has been bumped, causing a faint ripple through the top corner margins of most of the text block.
